Perfect location for a family with young kids. Super convenient walk (less than 3 minutes) to the beach through a quiet private neighborhood. Wonderful beach with a very nice sand bar during low tide, which makes for a great section of ocean appropriate for very young children! High tide brings the thrills of a stronger wave experience for older kids and adults! Our property was well maintained and perfect for a family of four (2 kids) and my mother in law! Very comfy, clean, and well stocked kitchen. Grocery store, butcher, fish market, and liquor store all within walking distance! Literally a three minute walk to all of these. Enjoyed are stay as this beach house as it was conveniently located to beach, pool and grocery store. Clean and nicely furnished for a pet friendly but there were a few things that would have made it even better. For example, the kitchen sink faucet leaked, some of the mattresses could have been better (master bedroom and twin beds) as well as the ceiling fans made noises. Also the porch door needs fixing badly. Don't mean to be a Debbie Downer but the above mentioned items would have made a good stay, a greater stay! These aren't expensive fixes when compared to price of staying there I believe. Very nice situation near the pool and a relatively easy walk to the beach. Ceiling fans and fixtures need work/updating. Some of the mattress are on their last legs, but were not terrible. Although some owners choose to provide beach chairs/umbrellas for their guests, they are not items that we require our owners to provide so we cannot guarantee that there will be any in the unit for guest use. However, should you need them, we recommend renting chairs/umbrellas from a local company, IOP Beach Chair Co.
Guests renting within Wild Dunes will receive a parking pass in order to park inside of Wild Dunes, but there is not a specific beach pass.
